Chapter Member Spotlight
Robert "Bob" Mowery
Celebrating 50 Years as a CPA
This year, the VSCPA Shenandoah Valley Chapter proudly celebrates a remarkable
milestone for one of its most dedicated members: Robert “Bob” Mowery, who has
held his CPA license for 50 years as of 2025.
Bob’s journey with the VSCPA began decades ago, and his leadership and camaraderie
have left a lasting impact. He served as President of the Blue Ridge
Chapter from 1988 to 1989, a time when the chapter was known by its former name
before becoming the Shenandoah Valley Chapter. His commitment to the profession
and to the VSCPA community has remained steadfast through the years.
Reflecting on his time with the chapter, Bob shared that he’s made many lifelong
friendships through the Blue Ridge Chapter and the VSCPA. Today, he continues to
enjoy building new connections and contributing to the vibrant community of the
Shenandoah Valley Chapter.
The photo accompanying this spotlight features Bob alongside chapter member Angela Rudolph-Wiseman, a current member of the Virginia Board of Accountancy, capturing a
moment of celebration and connection between two passionate advocates for the
profession.
Bob’s 50-year achievement is a testament to his dedication, professionalism, and the
positive influence he’s had on colleagues and peers alike. We’re honored to recognize
Bob for his incredible legacy and ongoing involvement.
Congratulations, Bob, and thank you for your decades of service and friendship!
